We affirm that Indigenous People account for the world’s smallest carbon footprint while they protect and enhance areas of the globe that are the most vulnerable to present and future ravages of climate change.
The Land Healers Foundation, through its Workshops, verified by Elders, is providing a meaningful structure through which these experiences are being transferred from oral traditions into Workshop Trainer positions and other job creation opportunities.
The success of the L.H.F. relies on the pledge of its graduates to continue passing on the knowledge and skills they acquire in the workshops. This allows for knowledge to be shared throughout communities and to encourage continuity of the Workshop trainings, as Trainees become Trainers!
