Mission

Indigenous peoples have been stewards of the land for centuries. Their deep understanding of the interrelationship of humans with plants, birds, fish and animals, is also characterised in their techniques for using and managing their natural resources. 

By using Traditional Ecological Knowledge in our Training Workshops we encourage Trainees to believe in and respect Mother Earth and the importance of adapting community agricultural activities to cope with Climate Change effects. 

Funding these Workshops is accomplished through grants from Corporations, Foundations and Government agencies which have reallocated funds from travel by staff and executives to domestic and international conferences, which has the added value of reducing their carbon footprints.
