Specialized Workshop trainings are designed to reconnect youth with Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) that bring new economic opportunities and have environmental benefits for their communities.
Supported by their Elders, the workshops will create a movement within the communities:
- Selection of a project by a local grassroots organisation will be submitted to the Land Healer Foundation. The project has to involve a team of young men and women;
- a feasibility Study will be done in cooperation with scientist who are familiar with Traditional Knowledge;
- Upon acceptance, the L.H.F. will identify financial sponsors for the project;
- Each participant will receive a cash bonus when they agree to become trainers for other youth in their community and organise presentations or site visits for them.
